Brit Pop Favs Coming Soon

Yod Crewsy and his team of musical wizards at Good Charamel Records aka GCR with recording engineer Justin Rose gathered in Buffalo, NY to mix-down the latest project for the continuing Yod Crewsy and the Dark Marbles musical project. This is part-two of a three part series of projects and concepts concevied by Yod Crewsy aka Paul Roalsvig. This project has been brewing for years, while Yod raised his children in the wilds of the Adirondacks all while expanding his home, built in 1859, to accomodate his recording studio.

Special guests in the studio over the session included John Wyle a Blues Man from his homebase in Churchville, Panama and Long Lake NY. Another visit, surprise guest Armand John Petrie, known for producing early Goo Goo Dolls and 10,000 Maniac albums, rounded out the day. Pretty groovy meeting of the minds and legendary visits to the studio all in the pursuit of Yod’s signature sound.

Yod has been pulling together his favorite Brit Pop Favs song list and has been feverishly recording in his basement in Long Lake, NY located in the heart of the Adirondacks. Some of the tracks were also recorded in neighboring Newcomb, NY at lead guitarists Eric Peter’s own rock n roll studio space.

Listeners better gear up to get the big sound ready to blow out the doors of their homes and cars with a great compilation of handpicked covers from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Yod finds inspiration from his days as a boy in Sweden to his years as a mod, living abroad in Stavanger, Norway, and later as a leader of The Spiderman and a founding member of the iconic Buffalo sensation, The Jacklords But enough about that… we know you are excited to gather your friends and family around the record player… ok the CD player.. ok.. the .. cassette player.. no no no. .soon this will be released digitally and CD’s will be pressed (we know we know.. do people still have CD players?) I digress..

Get ready.. The Dark Marbles are BACK!
